SOCIETE GENERALE STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 6 MARCH 2009 SOCIETE GENERALE TO ISSUE NINE NEW TURBOS AND FOUR NEW COVERED WARRANTS. THE ISSUE INCLUDES TURBOS AND WARRANTS ON THE DAX INDEX, THE NOKIA PLC SHARE, THE UPM-KYMMENE PLC SHARE AND BRENT CRUDE OIL FUTURE. Societe Generale, one of the leading issuers of covered warrants worldwide, issues a total of nine new European Turbo warrants and four new European warrants on the Helsinki Stock Exchange (HEX). The Turbos and warrants will be subject to public trading on the HEX Exchange List as of 9 March 2009. The underlying assets of the Turbos will be the DAX index, the Nokia Plc share, the UPM-Kymmene Plc share and the underlying asset of the warrants will be Brent Crude Oil future. The issue includes seven Long Turbos, two Short Turbos, two Call warrants and two Put warrants. The Turbos and warrants will be issued under the Societe Generale warrant program.
