Hanover, 9 March 2009 - Viscom AG, the European market leader for automatic
optical inspection systems, has been more severely impacted by consequences
of the economic crisis during the 4th quarter than expected. A sharp
decline in investment is manifest especially in the automotive sector.
Consequently company revenue for 2008 amounts EUR 49,9 million with an EBIT
for the year of about negative EUR 1.6 million.
Viscom AG will publish the key figures for business year 2008 on 27 March
2009. The Annual Report 2008 will be available for download on the Viscom
AG Internet site (www.viscom.com).
