Shares in Swedbank AB

Swedish Export Credit Corporation has as of March 8, 2009, in
connection with the regulation of a claim towards
Sparbanksstiftelsernas Förvaltnings AB (the Borrower), come to an
arrangement with the largest creditors to the Borrower, meaning that
SEK assumes the control of in total 25,520,000 shares in Swedbank AB.
The shares represent 3.3 percent of the share capital and votes in
Swedbank AB.

Swedish Export Credit Corporation has the intention to act
responsibly and in close consultation with its owner, the Swedish
state, regarding the control of the shares in Swedbank AB.
