The Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) of Nordea Bank AB today approved a
rights issue (11:20), whereby shareholders are entitled to 11 new shares for
every 20 shares held. The subscription price is set at EUR 1.81 and the Ex date
is March 13, 2009.
In accordance with the “Index Description of OMXH25 Stock Index” rules 8 and
8.3 Nordea Bank AB (NDA1V, FI0009902530) will be adjusted in OMXH25 index. The
new ordinary shares do not entitle to the dividend of EUR 0.20 proposed to the
Annual General Meeting (AGM) which will be held April 2, 2009, which is why the
proposed dividend is added to the issue price in the formula for the adjustment
amount.
After the adjustment the number of shares in OMXH25 will increase to 467 932
172. After the first tick, the new OMXH25 divisor will be 30 157 687.4185801.
