Neomarkka Plc STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE MARCH 18, 2009 at 9 AM NEOMARKKA´S SUBSIDIARY REKA CABLES LTD'S CO-OPERATION NEGOTIATIONS FINISHED Neomarkka Plc´s subsidiary Reka Cables Ltd's co-operation negotiations concerning factories in Hyvinkää and in Riihimäki have been finished. The negotiations started on February 2, 2009. The negotiations concerned 130 employees. The officials and the factory in Keuruu were not part of the negotiations. The outcome of the negotiations is lay-offs and nine dismissals. The lay-offs concern both Hyvinkää and Riihimäki factories and the lay-off time per employee can be more than 90 days. The dismissals concern Hyvinkää Factory. The demand for the products made in Keuruu factory has been good. Therefore the earlier seen possibility for the lay-offs in Keuruu production has expired. At the end of February Keuruu employed 63 workers. Separate stock release concerning officials will be published.
