Brightpoint and Associated Carrier Group Extend Preferred Supplier Agreement


INDIANAPOLIS, March 18, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Brightpoint, Inc. (Nasdaq:CELL) announced today that its subsidiary Brightpoint North America L.P. ("Brightpoint") has extended its preferred supplier agreement with Associated Carrier Group, LLC ("ACG") through March 2012. Pursuant to the agreement, Brightpoint will continue to be the primary supplier of wireless devices from leading wireless handset and device manufacturers and provide additional services related to product development and management to ACG. In addition, Brightpoint will continue to provide related integrated logistics services to ACG and its participating members.
