Ossur has become aware of an press report regarding a possible takeover bid for the Company. While Ossur and certain of its shareholders have engaged recently in discussions with potential buyers of a block of the Company's stock from these shareholders, there is no such transaction pending nor have any acceptable proposals been tendered to the Company. Accordingly, the management of the Company does not anticipate any such transaction on the terms described in the press report being completed in the near future, although the Company does expect that certain shareholders of the company may continue to pursue a sale of its shares in a private transaction.
