CBORD Awarded Supplier Contract by Novation

ITHACA, N.Y., March 19, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The CBORD Group, Inc., the leading provider of food and nutrition management solutions, cashless card systems, and access control solutions to healthcare facilities and colleges and universities, announced it will continue its strong partnership with Novation(r).

Novation, one of the nation's largest group purchasing organizations, awarded CBORD(r) its second consecutive supplier contract. CBORD will continue to be a provider of food service management systems, transaction-processing systems, and security access systems to Novation members and affiliates through January 2012.

This partnership allows Novation to offer preferred pricing on value-added software packages to its healthcare and college and university members and affiliates -- software that will continue to improve the efficiencies of their food service operations and their security access systems.

"We view our continued partnership with Novation as a testament to our quality products and to our service," said Tim Tighe, CBORD's President and CEO. "We look forward to working with Novation members and affiliates, implementing solutions that will improve their operations, grow their revenue, and offer needed solutions to their clients."

Novation is the industry's leading contracting services company delivering unmatched savings to more than 2,500 members and affiliates of VHA Inc., the University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC), and over 12,000 Provista customers. By combining scale and agility with clinical knowledge and product expertise, Novation offers the most extensive range of advanced contracting services in the industry.
