Villingen-Schwenningen, 23 March 2009: NEXUS AG, Villingen-Schwenningen,
listed in Prime Standard increased its consolidated sales of KEUR 29,712 in
the previous year to KEUR 34,824 (+17.2%) in 2008. The EBITDA increased by
20.0% to KEUR 6,155 (previous year: KEUR 5,129).

NEXUS AG has continued its positive development of previous years in 2008
with two-figure growth in sales and result. Sales in the core business,
Healthcare Software, increased by 17.3% to KEUR 30,175 (previous year: KEUR
25,710) over the whole year. The Healthcare Service Division had approx.
16% higher sales with KEUR 4,649 than in the previous year (2007: KEUR
4,002). MEDOS AG is consolidated in the figures with five months and a
total contribution to sales of EUR 3.24 million and profits of KEUR -9.

The result after taxes improved from KEUR 1,197 in 2007 to KEUR 1,533
(+28,1%) and contains a reduction of deferred taxes of approx. KEUR 271,
which is not effective on cash outflow.
The result before taxes was KEUR 1,854 following KEUR 1,677 in 2007
(+10.6%). The operative cash flow is EUR 4.26 million following EUR 2.96
million in the previous year (+43.7%).

NEXUS AG is active internationally as a supplier of medical information
systems for healthcare systems. NEXUS customers include renowned hospitals
as well as rehabilitation and social welfare institutions in 17 countries.
Introduction of NEXUS software makes it possible to support medical
processes digitally and consequently improve patient treatment and reduce
treatment costs.
More than 340 staff members in the NEXUS Group develop software and IT
solutions, with which approximately 76,500 users in 17 countries work.
