Oslo, March 23 2009 - Nord Pool ASA and NASDAQ OMX Commodities announced that beginning April 1, it will waive annual fees for new members for a temporary period. During this time new members will only be subject to traded and cleared volume fees. The promotion will be in effect until September 31. Head of NASDAQ OMX Commodities, Geir Reigstad, comments: “This introductory offer will provide a further incentive for entering the Nord Pool markets and demonstrate the benefits of being a member of Europe's largest power exchange. Potential members will have the opportunity to trade and clear Nord Pool products with no fixed fees for this period.” The annual fee will apply from 1 October for the remaining months of 2009.
