JSC „NORVIK BANKA” Comments on Net Profit for Year 2008:

JSC „NORVIK BANKA” would like to draw the financial information consumers'
attention to the fact that net profit reflected in audited annual report for
year 2008 differs from the net profit stated in the NORVIK's unaudited report
for year 2008. The main reason of that difference is the conservative approach
of the Bank's management to assets assessment and to provisions accumulation.
As a result the additional provisions have been created for loan portfolio and
for securities portfolio.

Annual Report for the year ended 31 December 2008 (audited) along with
Independent Auditors' Report.
