Equities: Adjustment of OMX Stockholm Benchmark Gross Index due to dividend in Nordea (58/09)

In accordance to the “Rules for the Construction and Maintenance of the NOREX Exchanges´ All-Share, Sector and Benchmark Indices”, rule 5.3 the number of shares for Nordea Bank AB was increased already on the Ex date for the rights issue, see exchange notice (49/09).  Due to that only a proportion (20/31) of the shares in Nordea Bank AB are entitled to the proposed dividend of EUR 0.20, the dividend amount for Nordea Bank AB (NDA SEK, SE0000427361) need to be reduced on the Ex date for the dividend.

Provided that the AGM approves the dividend proposal, NASDAQ OMX Stockholm will act and adjust Nordea Bank AB in OMX Stockholm Benchmark Gross Index in accordance to “Rules for the Construction and Maintenance of the NOREX Exchanges´ All-Share, Sector and Benchmark Indices”, rule 5.1.  On the Ex date April 3, 2009 a reduced dividend amount (20/31) × EUR 0.20 will be used.    
The dividend amount will be converted from EUR to SEK after closing on April 2, 2009 using the 17.00 CET rate provided by WM Company.
