When Life in the Fast Lane Catches Up -- A Fascinating Tale of a Man Who Had Everything He Wanted But Nothing That Truly Mattered

REDDING, Calif., March 27, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- In a compelling tale of ambition and one man's battle with the odds to make it right, author Jayne A. Grant depicts the consequences of a life lived without conscience. Landslide is what happens when a person goes through life too fast to stop and cherish the beauty of the world and its inhabitants.

Right before the turn of the century, when the worst was feared of the advent of the new millennium, the life of Joe Williams is chronicled in Silicon Valley. A hardworking upper middleclass man with a wife and a family, everything seemed to be going good in Joe's life. Until something from his past begins to haunt him -- in every possible way. He loses his job, yet ends up getting a promotion: a higher standing but with more expectations. Temptation follows his every move, even through death, when he alone has to face the final determining fate of the life of a once lucky man. Though he still, somehow, remains lucky, his haunting past now plays with his life and with his nerves, shaking his emotions...

Can Joe face the final judgment alone? Would he survive? But most of all, does he want to? Find out in this riveting tale of a person's inner struggle with greed and knowing what truly matters in life. For more information on this life-changing page-turner, log on to www.Xlibris.com.
