The Financial Supervisory Authority of Iceland has appointed a Resolution Committee for Sparisjóðabanki Íslands hf. (Icebank)

The Financial Supervisory Authority of Iceland (FME) as decided on the
appointment of a Resolution Committee for Sparisjóðabanki Íslands hf.
(Icebank), according to the FME's decision dated 27 of March 2009. 

The following individual have been appointed to the Resolution Committee:
Þorvarður Gunnarsson, certified public account, chairman of the Resolution
Committee 
Erling Tómasson, certified public account,
Hjördís Edda Harðardóttir, Supreme Court lawyer,
Jón Ármann Guðjónsson, solicitor and
Áslaug Björgvinsdóttir, Associate Professor, Faculty of Law - Reykjavik
University. 

According to the announcement from Sparisjodabanki Íslands dated 23 of March
2009, the bank was granted a license of financial reorganization. It should be
iterated that the appointment of the Resolution Committee does not effect this
license of financial reorganization.
