During March, 951,300 B shares out of Elekta's treasury holding were cancelled, in accordance with the decision by the Annual General Meeting on September 18, 2008. The total number of shares in Elekta as of March 31, 2009, amounts to 92,124,563 divided between 3,562,500 A shares and 88,562,063 B shares. One Series A share entitles the holder to 10 votes and one Series B share to one vote. After this cancellation, Elekta does not hold any own shares.
