Lysaker, 1 April 2009 Nord Pool Clearing ASA (NPC) and OMX AB (OMX) have signed a financial guarantee, which prolong NPC's clearing capital base as a total of € 150 million. The new two year guarantee replaces the financial insurance of US$ 110 million NPC signed with Radian Asset Assurance Inc. two years ago. With this transaction, NPC prolong the clearing capital of € 150 million, where NOK 500 million is equity capital and € 100 million is the new financial guarantee with OMX AB.
