Prosecutor's Office on April 3rd 2009 charged AS Järvevana with giving bribes in the criminal proceedings regarding land-swapping. On the same day, AS Järvevana was named as suspect in the bribery case regarding Ivo Parbus. This is an amendment to the allegations raised towards a member of the board of AS Merko Ehitus and, in relation, AS Merko Ehitus in December 2008. According to the allegations, representative of the company delivered an EEK 15 000 gift certificate to Mr Ivo Parbus to speed up paperwork for two detail plans and a construction project. The allegations are raised regarding AS Järvevana since projects involved are the property of the company. The company considers the charges and allegations unfounded.
