Colonia Real Estate AG resolves on capital increase 

* Volume of 3.6 million Euros at 2.77 Euros per share placed successfully
* Revenues will be used to optimize existing financing and to strengthen

Cologne, April 9, 2009 - The management board of Colonia Real Estate AG
(ISIN DE0006338007) resolved today, with the approval of the supervisory
board, to execute a capital increase without subscription rights for
shareholders.

The capital increase will be carried out by issuing 1.3 million new no par
value shares (ISIN DE000A0XFL07) of 1.00 Euro per share out of CRE's
authorised capital approved by the annual shareholders' meeting on July 4,
2007 against cash contributions. The capital increase was successfully
placed with institutional investors for an issue price of 2.77 Euros per
share; existing shareholders' subscription rights were excluded in
accordance with the resolution of the shareholders' meeting. As a result,
the company will receive gross proceeds of approximately 3.6 million Euros.
The company was supported by Silvia Quandt & Cie. AG in this transaction.

Colonia Real Estate AG was able to successfully place a capital increase
and win new investors in a very difficult stock exchange market
environment. Revenues will be used to optimize existing financing and to
strengthen equity.
