On April 10, Apranga Group, the leader of retail clothing market in Lithuania and the Baltic States, opens a Pull and Bear store covering an area of over 450 square metres at the shopping and entertainment centre Akropolis in Klaipeda. It is the first Pull and Bear store in Klaipeda and the eighth in the Baltic States. Over the last six months, Apranga Group has opened as many as four stores at Akropolis in Klaipeda, and currently the group owns eight stores in this shopping centre. Pull and Bear is a concept of Inditex, a global leader of retail clothing market, which is developed under the franchise contract by Apranga Group in the Baltic States. Pull and Bear is a chain of casual clothing for youth, a trade mark speaking the language understandable to all countries in the world and uniting different cultures. It owns 583 stores in 39 countries, which recorded a turnover of EUR 720 million at the end of 2008. Currently, Apranga Group operates a chain of 117 stores in the Baltic States: 77 in Lithuania (39 in Vilnius, 18 in Kaunas, 10 in Klaipeda, 6 in Siauliai, 2 in Panevezys, 1 in Utena and 1 in Marijampole), 31 in Latvia, and 9 in Estonia.
