Unconscious Effort -- New Thrilling Novel is About a Man Fighting for His and His Family's Lives

LONGMONT, Colo., April 14, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Suspense thrillers are always an exciting read. Get ready for some fast-paced reading as Tom Taylor tells the story of a man who must find out who he really is before it is too late for him and his family.

History has also taught us that the comfort of many is from the sacrifice for the few. History has proven that the practice of assassination is an extremely effective mechanism that can, in a single second, remove a particularly reprehensible figure and change a nation's path. However, once an assassin is unleashed, the real threat to the authority is from implication if, for whatever reason, the killer talks. History has confirmed that the best assassins are ones who keep their secrets.

Forest McCain is a highly trained and extremely effective killer working for the government -- only he doesn't know. He is unaware that the section he serves has been judged a potential embarrassment by the new administration and the clandestine element for the elimination of the nation's most heinous criminals must itself be eliminated.

What he does know will get him killed -- and what he doesn't know is essential to his and his family's survival.

About the Author

Tom Taylor is a geologist currently living in northern Colorado. Through his work, he has traveled extensively, physically exploring some of the least populated and most desolate areas that the greater western United States has to offer. When not in the field, his work gives him the means to transport him deep into the past through eons of geologic time by mapping prehistoric environments.
