On April 17, 2009 SJC Latvijas Hipotēku un zemes banka and Nordic Investment Bank signed an agreement on a new loan granting for 100 million EUR. This loan will allow Latvian small and medium companies receive a loan up to 5 million lats to finance their investment projects. SJC Latvijas Hipotēku un zemes banka will receive Nordic Investment Bank loan as soon as the state guarantee is confirmed. The loan is granted for 10 year.
