AeroTwin Reports On Sport Aircraft Engine

American, Australian and New Zealand Customers Propel Enhancements

LAS VEGAS, April 20, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- AirScooter Corporation's (Pink Sheets:ASCO) wholly owned subsidiary AeroTwin Motors reported today on its line of AeroTwin(r) sport aircraft engines. AeroTwin's patented two cylinder four-stroke performance is available in two models, the AT972T (turbo version) and the AT972 (standard - natural aspirated), covering a wide range of sport aircraft, powered parachute and hovercraft applications.

Feedback from a growing number of American, Australian and New Zealand customers have sparked recent engine and accessory enhancements including:

 * A new proprietary compact, lightweight oil tank with built-in oil
cooler is now standard. It allows for easy and flexible installation
   in all applications.

 * A more robust drive system to compensate for the much higher torque
experienced by customers electing to drive larger props at lower
RPMs. This enables AeroTwin customers the benefits of shorter
takeoff distances at less throttle and more reserve, lower operating
   temperatures and less noise.

 * An improved fan and shroud package providing two times the cooling
airflow for fixed applications or for slower moving craft such as
   hovercraft and powered chutes.

"These updates illustrate both our customer commitment and our rigorous quality and performance improvement program evidenced by dual research and testing facilities in Fort Worth, Texas and Christchurch, New Zealand," said Dwaine Barnes, president of AeroTwin. "While the world economy is having a detrimental impact on recreational spending, we offer an economic solution for both new and retrofit engine customers desiring superior four-stroke performance. We expect worldwide sales to grow as economies improve, awareness increases and more and more customers report positive and longer-term usage in a variety of vehicles."

AeroTwin offers several gear-box reduction assemblies and a new reduction belt drive that raises the prop centerline for a lighter and more compact installation package. The distinguishing feature of the light-weight AeroTwin engine is its exceptional power/torque/weight performance. The factory provides extensive customer installation information online and personal support by trained and experienced representatives.
