HONOLULU, April 21, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- BlueWave Technology, a leading provider of claims management solutions for the property/casualty insurance industry, announced today the promotion of Alyssa Hostelley to Vice President of Product Management, a role which interfaces customer or industry needs with BlueWave's product roadmap for PipelineClaims.

In the past year, Hostelley helped to successfully launch one of BlueWave Technology's largest client implementations in the Midwestern U.S., during which she acted as both project manager and product manager. In her new position, Hostelley's primary responsibilities will include day-to-day product management for BlueWave's flagship offering, PipelineClaims, a modern claims administration software solution for the P&C insurance market. Her previous industry experience with Hawaii's largest health insurance provider where she spearheaded major initiatives, and with BlueWave where she started as a product manager in 2007, will greatly inform her decisions in terms of overall product management at BlueWave Technology including product strategic direction, business analysis, product development, quality assurance, product training and post-implementation support.
Hostelley is a proven leader and adept facilitator with more than 10 years of experience in project management, product development, operations and finance. As a result of directing many successful customer implementations, Hostelley has developed trusted business relationships with both business partners and clients. She earned her B.S. in Business Management from Santa Clara University.
