The Wisdom Seeker -- New Book is an Entertaining Look At an Ex-Secret Agent's Pursuit for a Normal Yet Fulfilled Life

EAST FALMOUTH, Mass., April 27, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- A man with a top-secret past decides to pursue his dreams and build a normal life -- until his old life came catching up to him. William E. Dickinson explores the difficulties and struggles of a former secret agent for normalcy in The Wisdom Seeker, a novel published through Xlibris.

Finally retiring from the Intelligence Community, Captain Marc Trembley begins his pursuit for the dreams he had shelved. He wants to earn a degree in Humanities, teach in a small town and melt into normal life -- and he begins tackling this list, beginning with college. Just one glimpse of him, however, already poses a challenge to his aim for normalcy. His unusual age for attending college, his build, and the various incidents that draw out his practically reflexive martial arts skills, make Marc stand out like a sore thumb. He was prepared to deal with the outward conspicuousness, but when his refined instincts began triggering little alarms wherever he went, he realizes that while he had put his days with Special Forces and the CIA behind him too quickly, they did not do so that easily. The story that ensues illustrates Dickinson's creative take on what happens when secret agents try to lead normal, civilian lives.

In The Wisdom Seeker, Dickinson creates a wonderful mix of a heartwarming sincerity to follow one's old dreams and the inevitable excitement that ensues when one is a former secret agent and too good for the everyday action on the streets. For more information, log on to www.Xlibris.com.
