Charles & Colvard, Ltd. Announces First Quarter 2009 Earnings Teleconference and Webcast

(Nasdaq:CTHR), the sole manufacturer and distributor of moissanite, a unique, brilliant jewel sold through jewelers and other retailers around the world, announced today that it will release its first quarter 2009 results before the opening of financial markets on Tuesday, May 5, 2009.

The release of the financial results will be followed by a company-hosted teleconference on Tuesday, May 5, 2009, at 4:45 p.m. ET. During the teleconference, George Cattermole, Chairman, Richard Bird, CEO, and Neil Boss, Controller, will review the financial and operating results for the period and discuss Charles & Colvard's corporate strategy and outlook.
