SHARE SUBSCRIPTION PRICE WITH KONECRANES STOCK OPTIONS 2009 A AND MARKET VALUE  
OF THE OPTION SERIE 2009 A                                                      

The share subscription price for Konecranes stock option 2009 A is EUR          
14.55/share (the trade volume weighted average quotation of the share on the    
NASDAQ OMX Helsinki Ltd. during 1 April - 30 April 2009).                       

A total of 750,000 new shares or existing shares held by the Company can be     
subscribed for with stock options 2009 A. The share subscription period for     
stock options 2009 A will be 1 April 2012 - 30 April 2014.                      

The theoretical market value of stock options in Stock Option Plan 2009 A is EUR
5.13/stock option. The theoretical market value of the entire stock option serie
is thus EUR 3,847,500. The theoretical market value of one stock option has been
calculated through the use of Black &Scholes stock option pricing model with the
following input factors: share price EUR 15.55, share subscription price EUR    
14.55, risk free interest rate 2.93 %, validity of stock options 5 years and    
volatility 28 %.
