This is to inform that (02.05.2009) in newspaper „Latvijas avīze” - published information is true: - planned 30% turnover decrease in local market in year 2009; - in year 2008 AS “Latvijas balzams” has dismissed 100 people; - This week chairman of the board was worrying about “LB” biggest export market - Lithuania where can be seen similar market tendencies as in Latvia. Namely, the turnover of legal alcoholic beverages market if falling. These kinds of tendencies can be seen in all countries in time of crisis. It is planned in this years budget a half percent export decrease; - money turnover decrease to be planned from 103 till 101 million lats in year 2009.
