Dotomi, the Leader in Personalized Media, Selects Chicago as its Headquarters

Decision to Put Down Roots Tied to City's Key Talent Pool and Appealing Geographic Accessibility

CHICAGO, May 6, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Dotomi, Inc. (www.dotomi.com), the leader in personalized media that's more relevant for consumers and more efficient for advertisers, has selected Chicago as home to its new corporate headquarters. The high growth Internet marketing company, which was founded in Israel and located in Boston, selected Chicago due to its access to hard-working, well-educated marketing and technology talent as well as its central location and easy access to all parts of the country. The company recently moved into three floors (approximately 23,000 square feet) at 168 N. Clinton to accommodate the rapid expansion of its employee base.

"Chicago is the ideal city to help us satisfy the growing demand for our personalized media services." says John Giuliani, CEO of Dotomi, Inc. "Despite the recession, we are seeing rapidly increasing interest for more effective online marketing from companies of all sizes. In order to meet this demand, we need to attract highly educated and motivated staff that can help us shape a new way of marketing. Chicago - with its universities, attractive waterfront and recreation, and culture of hard-working individualism - gives us access to a great pool of talent. Plus, it is one of the best transportation hubs in the country to visit customers from coast to coast."

The company upgraded the telecom and wireless infrastructure at its new location, which it chose in part due to the building's convenience to the El and Ogilvie and Union Metra Stations. "Our existing staff lives everywhere from blocks away to 40 miles away, so it was important for us to find a location that had easy access to Chicago's mass transit system," says Jackie Kelly, V.P. Finance & Administration of Dotomi.

"We've been able to draw a broad and talented workforce to Chicago thanks to its diverse economy, tremendous transportation system, access to the world and incomparable quality of life," said Rita Athas, Executive Director of World Business Chicago. "We are delighted to welcome Dotomi to our engaged corporate community and know they will find Chicago is an ideal business location."

"We've had a very good experience moving into our new space," Ms. Kelly explained. "This is a big commitment, and we feel fortunate to have partners in the city, our landlord and broker, general contractor and even the local telecom providers that have worked diligently to assist us in creating our new home." The building was represented by Grubb Ellis and Spectrum Real Estate Services represented Dotomi in the transaction. Urban Innovations is the general contractor on the project.
