Release of a Voting Rights announcement

On May 11, 2009 , AXA S.A., Paris, Frankreich has informed us according to
Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via shares its Voting Rights on
Fresenius Medical Care AG & Co. KGaA, Bad Homburg, Deutschland, ISIN:
DE0005785802, WKN: 578580, have fallen below the 3% limit of the Voting
Rights on May 06, 2009  and now amount to 2.76% (this corresponds to
8120917 Voting Rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 of the WpHG, 2.76% of
the Voting Rights (this corresponds to 8120917 Voting Rights) is to be
attributed to the company.
