BELMONT, CA--(Marketwire - May 13, 2009) - Dave Roberts, vice president of strategy for Vyatta, will participate at this year's
Interop conference held in
Las Vegas on May 17-21. In a session led by Jim Metzler of Ashton, Metzler
& Associates, Dave will be joined by representatives from Cisco and Juniper
for a session titled "Is Routing Undergoing a Mid-Life Crisis?"
Session:
According to industry pundits, there is a need for a next generation of
routing as business initiatives drive the need for much higher levels of
performance, security and availability. They also claim that routers must
become more energy efficient and provide functionality, such as multicast
and deep packet inspection. In this session, panelists from the leading
router companies will discuss the business initiatives that are driving the
need for enhanced routing functionality and explain exactly how routers
provide that functionality.
