The employees of Junnikkala Oy were today given a negotiation proposition according to the Co-operation Act concerning the lay off of the entire personnel due to the impending lack of stock. The reason for starting the negotiations is the supply of raw material which has become more difficult as a result of the reduction in wood trade, which affects the sawmill business. Junnikkala Oy employs altogether 111 workers and specialised staff. The negotiations will start on Monday 25 May 2009.
