Northrop Grumman Names Teammates for KC/KDC-10 Extender Contractor Logistics Support Competition


HERNDON, Va., May 19, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) announced today its aviation industry teammates in the competition for the U.S. Air Force's KC/KDC-10 Extender contractor logistics support (CLS) contract. The company's Technical Services sector entered the competition as prime contractor in December 2007. Teammates include TIMCO Aviation Services Inc., AAR, Chromalloy Gas Turbine LLC, and MTU Maintenance.

The team submitted its proposal to the Air Force May 8, 2009. Contract award is expected before the end of June with contract phase-in set to begin July 1, 2009.
