BELLEVUE, Wash., May 26, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sector 10, Inc. (OTCBB:SECI) (Frankfurt:4SR) announced today that John Gargett, who currently heads the Operations Committee on the Board of Directors, has accepted the position of Vice President of Operations and Chief Operations Officer.
Mr. John B. Gargett has already begun working with Sector 10 in formulating a 5-year growth strategy. After undertaking a comprehensive review of Sector 10, he is convinced that Sector 10's prospects for growth are substantial. With over 25 years experience in Crisis, Emergency and Risk Management, Mr. Gargett has been able to see what does, and what does not, work. Mr. Gargett will continue to serve on the Board of Directors for Sector 10 and will also serve on the Board for the National Institute of Urban Search and Rescue.
Mr. Gargett is recognized nationally and internationally as an expert in Crisis Management. He has worked in over forty countries and assisted the United Nations in designing systems for the monitoring of relief supplies in the former Yugoslavia and Somalia. He has provided expert lectures to Japanese private sector companies on the threats facing, and working in, hostile or overseas environments.
