About the Author
Charles S. Watson, Jr. is the organizer and Director of the National Public Lands Task Force and co-organizer of the Nevada Survey of the Nevada Outdoor Recreation Association (NORA) whose quadrant-by-quadrant examination of the 48 million acres of public land in Nevada has been described by the National Park Service as "a monumental achievement." He is a former employee of the Bureau of Land Management, as well as other federal agencies, and the author of articles for such magazines as the Sierra Club Bulletin and National Parks Magazine. He lives in Carson City, Nevada.
