Alm. Brand Forsikring A/S which is a subsidiary of Alm. Brand A/S has today
signed a binding agreement with Nordic Run-Off Limited, a UK subsidiary of
Enstar Group Limited, Bermuda for the sale of Kjøbenhavnske Re and that
company's subsidiaries and branches. The agreed purchase price is approximately
DKK 150 million.
The sale will not affect the Alm. Brand Group's expectations for the whole of
2009 of a profit of DKK 400 million before tax, losses and impairment.
Completion of the sale is conditional on general terms, including approval from
the financial supervisory authorities in the home countries of the respective
subsidiaries and branches.
