Component Changes Made to Dow Jones Automobiles & Parts Titans 30 Index


NEW YORK, June 1, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Dow Jones Indexes, a leading global index provider, today announced that General Motors Corp. (United States, Automobile & Parts, GM) will be removed from the Dow Jones Automobiles & Parts Titans 30 Index.

General Motors Corp. will be replaced by Sumitomo Electric Industries Ltd. (Japan, Automobiles & Parts, 5802.TO) in the Dow Jones Automobiles & Parts Titans 30 Index. General Motors Corp. is being removed due to its filing for bankruptcy.

All changes will be effective before the open of trading on Thursday, June 4, 2009.
