Dr. Rebecca Hayward Mitchell Finds Poetry in Sculpture -- New Picture Book Combines Mother's Stunning Sculpture With Daughter's Praise Poetry

CHELTENHAM, Pa., June 3, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Discover and behold the amazing work of a woman who found her gift of sculpting late in life through her daughter's literary-visual tribute to her memory. In this poem-picture anthology, Her Sculptures Speak To My Soul, trace the fine details and smooth curves of Lithern Hayward's sculptures as Dr. Rebecca Hayward Mitchell expresses her inspired interpretations through praise poetry.

Lithern Hayward's gentle and hardworking hands -- hands that clapped at her daughter's achievements and wiped away tears -- also created beautiful and stunning sculptures. Her daughter, Dr. Rebecca Hayward Mitchell, wrote these uplifting poems, inspired by her mother's work and in memory of her mother. These verses will speak to the soul and lift up the heart with their simple but sincere message of putting one's faith and hope in God, for with Him all things are possible.

Combining the stunning visual representations of Lithern Hayward's exquisite hand-carved sculptures with Dr. Mitchell's insightful verses, Her Sculptures Speak To My Soul encourages readers to discover, develop, and pursue their God-given talents and passions, and to trust in and entrust everything to God.
