Gold Coast Mining Corp. Announces Appointment of New Directors


TORONTO, June 8, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Gold Coast Mining Corp. (Pink Sheets:GCMG) is pleased to announce the appointment of Gary Cripps and Mohamed Kortu as Directors of the company. Mr. Cripps has also been appointed President of Gold Coast and will replace Douglas Evans who has resigned from the company as both officer and director.

Mr. Cripps brings over 30 years' experience in the Financial Services Industry with expertise in trading, accounting, client services and corporate governance and compliance.

Mr. Kortu brings over 35 years of experience in West and South Africa in the Diamond Industry with expertise in mining exploration and development, trading and evaluation. He will act as an advisor to the company for African operations.

Gold Coast will focus on building a successful mineral exploration company through geological experience and efficient management while conducting extensive research and development of high quality mineral exploration products.

Gold Coast is presently focused on the exploration and future development of gold properties in West Africa. Currently West Africa is one of the fastest growing gold producing regions in the world.
