Rising India Announces Board of Director Appointments


OMAHA, Neb., June 10, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Rising India, Inc. (Pink Sheets:RSII) (the "Company"), a publicly-traded company announced today the appointment of Jan Schmidtgen and S. Murali to its board of directors. Mr. Schmidtgen will continue as managing director of 4k Animation GmbH of Berlin, Germany (see website at www.4k-animation.com), and Mr. Murali continues his responsibilities for overseeing animation production activity for 4K in India. Other board members include Arthur H. Taylor, CEO of Rising India, Nagaraj Sharma who is also a director of Four K Animation Private Ltd., of Chennai, India, James DiPrima, treasurer, who also oversees investor relations, and S. Sridaram, company secretary. Mr. Sharma and Mr. Murali will also serve as Executive Vice Presidents of Rising India. Also today, Rising India announced that Christopher D. Curzon, Esquire, of Omaha, Nebraska has joined the firm as its general counsel. Schmidtgen and Sharma have contracted with Rising India to bring substantial animation orders to Rising India each year on an ongoing basis once funding is complete.
