Omnicity Appoints New CEO


RUSHVILLE, Ind., June 23, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Board of Directors has appointed Greg Jarman as the CEO of Omnicity Corp. (OTCBB:OMCY) replacing outgoing Richard ("Dick") Beltzhoover who has resigned to focus on the role as Chairman. Greg Jarman has been the chief architect of Omnicity's rural broadband focus and its long term development strategy. Mr. Jarman has been with the Company since 2003, Chief Operating Officer since 2006 and President since 2008. Mr. Beltzhoover, along with Mr. Jarman, has guided Omnicity through the transition to a public company and into an aggressive growth mode over the last fifteen months.

Richard Beltzhoover commented, "I felt this was an ideal time for me to resign as CEO and allow a new CEO to take over as the company enters a new period of growth and expansion.
