Frankfurt/Main, June 24, 2009 - Dr. Edgar Bernardi is retiring as a member
of the Executive Board of euromicron AG for health reasons effective June
30, 2009, and will leave the company at the same time at his own request.

Dr. Bernardi and the company have agreed that he will continue to
contribute the know-how he has built up in many years of work at euromicron
as the board member responsible for market, technology and operations -
where his health permits - and maintain close ties with the Group. It is
envisaged that he will assume special consulting duties of a national and
international nature.

The Supervisory Board and Executive Board thank Dr. Bernardi for his
successful work in the past, wish him all the best and greatly appreciate
the fact they will continue to be able to call on his advice in developing
euromicron further.
