Net Insight receives order for contribution network from new European customer

Stockholm, Sweden - Net Insight, a leading developer of efficient and
scalable optical transport solutions for media, IP and broadcast
networks, today announced that a large broadband and multimedia
services operator/provider in southern Europe has placed an order for
Net Insight's Nimbra optical transport solution.

Net Insight's Nimbra platform will be a strategic component of a
contribution network supplied by the South European broadband and
multimedia service (IPTV, telephony and data) provider to distribute
multimedia (ASI, SD-SDI or HD-SDI) services. The solution includes
Nimbra Vision, a complete management tool for efficient operation and
maintenance of the Nimbra network. Nimbra Vision in combination with
the Nimbra hardware platform will enable the operator to reduce the
complexity and cost of managing services both today and going
forward. It shall also allow the operator a greater level of
flexibility and choice in terms of scaling both the bandwidth and
choice of service as needs arise.

The south European operator has bought the Net Insight Nimbra
platform via a project partner, Nokia Siemens Networks.
