(Pink Sheets:WNRC) is pleased to announce the latest developments of the Company's entrance into television production. The Company has entered into an exclusive agreement to produce all programming for Channel KELM-LP in Reno, Nevada. The programs will be distributed on cable and other broadcast networks.
Content
The Company is developing a channel, which will emphasize financial topics of NASDAQ and AMEX small-cap, Bulletin Board and Pink Sheet companies. The basic format will be profiles of small-cap companies, in-studio interviews, and any additional promotional footage. The Company is currently in discussion with a studio in the Los Angeles area to provide facilities for production on an interim basis.
Additionally, the Company looks to develop a bureau for small-cap companies in Hong Kong to provide additional programming for KELM. After the U.S. markets close, KELM will focus on broadcasting these small-cap companies from Hong Kong. European companies may also be an option in the future.
Distribution
The Company has preliminary commitments from three cable operators to broadcast the KELM programming on their respective basic line-ups. This will be at no cost to the Company. Further, the cable operators will sell advertising, which will be shared with the Company.
The Company is also in discussion with a broadcasting group, which owns over 30 network affiliates across the country. This group has expressed an interest to broadcast our programming on their sub-channels, thus giving the Company greater distribution. Additionally, the Company will simulcast its programming on the Internet.
Logistics
With the advantages of low-cost data lines and the Internet, the Company will be able to film from various locations while managing the programs directly out of its central location in Nevada.
