We received the following notification pursuant to § 21 para. 1 of the WpHG
on 29 June 2009:

The following notification is made in the name of Columbia Wanger Asset
Management LP, registered seat at Chicago, USA.

The share of voting stocks of Columbia Wanger Asset Management LP in
RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, Salzburger Leite 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale,
Germany, went below the threshold of 3 % of the total voting stocks of the
company on 15 June 2009.

The percentage of voting rights of Columbia Wanger Asset Management LP in
RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG at 15 June 2009 amounted to 2.76% (2,863,564 shares).
These voting rights are in their entirety attributable to Ameriprise
Financial, Inc. pursuant to § 22 para. 1 sent. 1 No. 6 WpHG.
