COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., July 29, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) announced today that it has named Mick Anna corporate lead executive for company business in Colorado Springs, Colo. Anna will report to Larry Lanzillotta, corporate vice president of customer relations for Northrop Grumman.

As corporate lead executive, Anna will serve as the company's principal point of contact for all Northrop Grumman business in the Colorado Springs region. He will also promote and coordinate the activities of all Northrop Grumman sectors with local business and community interests. Northrop Grumman has 1,210 employees in Colorado Springs and more than 2,700 statewide.
"Mick has lived and worked in the Colorado Springs area for more than 25 years," said Lanzillotta. "He well understands both our critical business needs in the region and the value of corporate involvement in the community."
Anna has been with Northrop Grumman and its heritage companies in Colorado Springs since 1983, holding a variety of business development and marketing positions. Most recently, he was corporate director of customer relations in Colorado Springs.
Prior to joining Northrop Grumman, Anna worked at ITT, Harris Information Systems and Honeywell Aerospace and Defense Group.
Anna served in the U.S. Air Force at the Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center in Los Angeles, the Secretary of the Air Force Special Projects Office and the Strategic Air Command, where he flew the RC-135 Cobra Ball surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft.
Anna earned a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Arizona and a master's degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Southern California.
