Binswanger Myre Pageau Brokers Major Sale in Saint Augustin, Quebec, Canada

PHILADELPHIA, PA--(Marketwire - August 12, 2009) - On behalf of its client, AGC Glass Company North America ("AGC"), Binswanger Myre Pageau is pleased to announce the sale of a 605,000 sq. ft. building on 66 acres located at 250 Copenhague Street in St. Augustin-de-Desmaures, Quebec, Canada.

The seller, AGC Glass Company North America, is a subsidiary of Asahi Glass Company, a global leader in float glass. Headquartered in Alpharetta, Georgia, AGC supplies high quality products to the construction, specialty, solar and automotive glass markets.

The buyer is based in Quebec City, and is an affiliate of Stove Builder International Inc., who specializes in the design and fabrication of residential heating appliances using various types of fuels such as gas, oil, wood, wood pellets, and biomass. They have consolidated and are relocating their wood burning stove manufacturing operations to the St. Augustin facility. The building was formerly used for manufacturing flat glass for raw materials, and as part of the transaction, the portion of the building containing the glass furnaces will be demolished.
