On Sunday, September 27, 2009, drawings for the "$75,000 Smash for Cash" promotion will begin at noon Eastern and continue hourly until 9 p.m. During each drawing until 8 p.m., four guests will be selected and asked to choose a ceramic piggy bank from a choice of four banks. Three of the four banks will contain $500 in cash, and one bank will contain $1,000 in cash and an invitation to return for the 9:15 p.m. Grand Prize contest. At 9 p.m., one final guest will be selected and guaranteed an entry for the Grand Prize contest. The 10 finalists will be asked to select one piggy bank from 25 available banks: 20 banks contain $1,000; two banks contain $2,500; one bank contains $5,000; one bank contains $10,000; and one bank contains $25,000. Three players won a Medium Jackpot, which must hit by $20,000, and 67 players won Small Jackpots, which must hit by $500. 23 players won Dollar Downpour jackpots, a W Club Jackpot connected to a bank of 40, $1 slot machines in a special section on the casino floor. The Dollar Downpour starts at $500 and must hit by $1,200. 84 players won Reigning Quarters jackpots, a new W Club Jackpot which is connected to 40, $0.25 slot machines. The Reigning Quarters payout starts at $250 and must hit by $500. Additionally, on Sunday, August 2, Jonathan T. of Darien, Ill., won a Harley Davidson, plus $10,000 in cash.
