Find Inspiration in Life Through My Many Years -- New Anthology Reveals the Author's Rich Legacy and Paints a Picture of a Life Well Lived

GEORGE WEST, Texas, Sept. 22, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Imagine having eleven children, forty-two grandchildren, and sixty great grandchildren with two more on the way. It may seem like more than a handful, but author Mary Lou Nance Ivey wouldn't have it any other way. She invites readers on a poetic journey of her life as she reveals My Many Years.

In this wonderful anthology, the author shares vignettes of her life experiences told through narrative poems. Though the poems are mostly short in length, it does not diminish the tale that each one tells. Ivey's gift of storytelling flows through her words and gives readers a fleeting glimpse of what her life was like then. Her poetry is interspersed with brief reflections and interesting thoughts on several issues and experiences. The author's faith is also evident as she dedicates several works to God.

My Many Years is a lovely collection that will inspire readers especially when going through difficult times. The author's life was far from perfect but she cherished every moment that came, even with the struggles of raising a big family and making ends meet. A memorable literary work, readers will discover a rich legacy and a remarkable picture of a life well lived. For more information on this book, log on to www.Xlibris.com.
