Aureon Laboratories Announces Hiring of Vice President of Sales

David Brown Joins Aureon to Lead Sales Team and to Help Prepare Company for Its Future Expansion


YONKERS, N.Y., Oct. 13, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Aureon Laboratories, Inc. today announced the hiring of David Brown as Vice President of Sales. Mr. Brown will provide leadership to the sales team and help oversee the company's planned expansion into new markets.

Prior to joining Aureon Mr. Brown held senior sales and marketing leadership positions with Covidien as Vice President of Sales and Marketing and VP of Global Market Development, with Smith and Nephew as VP of Strategic Sales, and most recently with Salient Surgical Technologies as the VP of Sales and Marketing. During his 20 years in the medical device industry he has gained significant experience in building and leading best in class sales teams, developing and implementing go to market strategies and working with leading surgeons and institutions to implement technologies that have significantly improved patient care.
