NASDAQ OMX to Host Director Education Conference in Collaboration With Dow Jones

Exchange Furthers Commitment to Director Education "The High Performance Director: Navigating 2010"


NEW YORK, Nov. 19, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:NDAQ) announced today that it will join with Dow Jones & Company to present a conference focused on director education on December 11, 2009 at the Metropolitan Club in New York.

The one-day conference, "The High Performance Director: Navigating 2010," will focus on timely developments including the compensation debate, the regulatory environment, activists in the boardroom, oversight models, and best practices for directors to utilize during challenging times. The goal of the conference is to provide useful insights to boards of directors, corporate secretaries, and private equity and corporate executives.
